Located in one of the most attractive neighbourhoods in Lisbon, next to the Basilica and Jardim da Estrela, this building on Calçada da Estrela was carefully rehabilitated by TANAGRA. Maintaining part of the original structure but making an extension on the back side and building a new floor, TANAGRA combined a series of construction techniques that simultaneously preserve the building's history with modern demands for structural solidity and quality.

The restored old stairs are the central element in the common area, where the period tiles and the preservation of the original opening system for the building's main door stand out. Some of TANAGRA's most visible interventions were inside the apartments, including the wooden floors, birch plywood carpentry, and the conservation of stucco rosettes.

The real estate project, designed by Studio Toggle, consists of five floors above ground. The ground floor is a commercial space, and the remaining four are apartments, which have a patio or balcony.
